Vicky Montanari x Parfois: 40 1960s-inspired clothing and accessories designs

Italian-Brazilian influencer Vicky Montanari has just unveiled a collection, created in collaboration with Parfois, that mixes patterns, textures, colours, and irreverent styles. The items are now available on the Portuguese brand’s website, Parfois.com.

Having lived in Portugal for eight years, Vicky Montanari bought her first Parfois piece in Lisbon seven years ago — a simple beaded necklace she never tired of wearing, she says. The young influencer, who holds a degree in International Relations, has built a strong presence in the fashion world and has so far amassed 1.2 million followers on social media.

“It’s the country I chose to live in, and working with a Portuguese brand is incredible,” she said at a press conference about her partnership with Parfois, to which she devoted two years of almost weekly meetings with the design team, yielding a result that is “very Vicky”, she agreed.

From the red bag with wheels, priced at 69.99 euros, to the knee-high peep-toe boots, at 89.99 euros, and the Mary Jane shoes, at 55.99 euros, every piece has a distinctive, playful touch that is characteristic of the influencer’s world.

There are 40 items of clothing and accessories inspired by the 1960s and by Vicky Montanari’s own multifaceted style.

“In the past, clothes had a different quality to those made today,” explains the young woman who, along with other influencers, will be at the wardrobe event they are organising at the premises of the Dona Ajuda charity on Sunday, November 9

“I’ve always wanted to study fashion,” she told Observador, arguing that “Portugal has much more potential to grow, including Lisbon Fashion Week.”

According to Parfois, this joint collection celebrates “improvisation, the freedom of imagination and of form”, the brand said in a statement.
