John Lewis continues to expand its fashion offer and on Monday announced the launch of a new menswear line, J. Lewis.

The new “premium” capsule collection includes a “curated selection of high-quality pieces”, made from European fabrics and designed in house by the John Lewis team.
The 23-piece contemporary offer is an addition to the John Lewis Menswear label, and builds out John Lewis’s popular own-brand collections.
The company said the capsule will be available online and in 11 of its department stores from 22 September and “brings natural fabrics to the fore offering the ultimate capsule wardrobe of pieces made from cashmere, silk and worsted wools”.
Highlights include Italian yarn from Millefili, Italian wools and Kuroki Japanese denim, with the company saying its aim is to provide “exceptional craftsmanship at a considered price point”.
Items include The Flannel Suit in Barberis Italian wool, The Check Blazer in Guabello Italian wool, The Japanese Jeans in Turkish Kuroki denim, The Knitted Polo in Biella Italian yarn, The Cashmere Cotton Tee and The Needle Cord Shirt and Heavyweight T -Shirts, all in Portuguese cotton, The Stripe Shirt in Portuguese poplin and The Fisherman Rib Rollneck in Millefili Italian merino yarn.
It’s available for AW25 in a soft, seasonal colour palette of rustic browns, olive green, dove grey, classic navy and white and prices range from £35-£400.
