Wax London launches boot collab with Italy’s Fracap

Wax London never seems far away from a new venture. So it’s no surprise the fashion retailer has joined with Italian bootmaker Fracap launching a collaboration from at its stores and online.

Timed for the winter months, the two brands have created an “elevated footwear offering” of four Wax-exclusive colourways set across three Fracap silhouettes, each handmade in Italy.

The collaboration reimagines Fracap’s three best-known styles using premium Italian leathers, traditional construction techniques and signature Wax “detailing and sartorial style”.

The Black Calf Leather M60 Boot (£295) is a re-interpretation of the Fracap classic, handcrafted from black calf leather and finished with matte antique silver hardware; the Arancio Calf Leather M60 Boot (£295) shares the same construction of the M60 while this edition comes in golden orange-brown calf leather “that develops a rich patina over time”; the Brown Pebbled Calf Leather M128 Boot (£275) returns with a ‘Wax twist’: brown pebbled calf leather paired with matte antique brass hardware and a durable commando-style Vibram Vi-Lite outsole; finally, Brown Grained Calf Leather MA187 Shoe (£275) features a refined low-profile shape, pairing grained brown calf leather with brown calf suede on the upper for rich texture contrast.
